From picking options to choosing with confidence.
A familiar Shopify selector helps shoppers pick a variant. Weevio adds the context around that choice: what changed, what it costs, where stock is available, and what to try next.
| The shopper's question | Typical theme selector | With Weevio |
|---|---|---|
| Choosing options | Select values to choose a product variant. | Visual option cards show the choices and their price differences. |
| Invalid combinations | Unavailable choices depend on how your theme handles them. | Keeps the option you clicked, finds the closest valid configuration, and explains any other changes. |
| Available stock | Usually reflects the variant's Shopify availability. | Brings Shopify and configured distributor inventory into the availability picture. |
| A sold-out selection | Often leaves the shopper on the same product. | Looks for in-stock configurations and similar products in your catalog, including connected distributor availability. |
| Getting the product | Delivery and pickup details depend on your theme and apps. | Shows ZIP-based delivery estimates and pickup availability for the chosen variant and quantity. |
Shopify themes and apps vary. This comparison describes a typical theme selector, rather than every Shopify storefront.
Your shelf. Your suppliers. One clearer answer.
Show shoppers the buying options your store can support. Weevio combines Shopify inventory with connected Ingram Micro and TD SYNNEX stock.
Availability follows the selected variant and quantity, while your configured stock buffers help keep the displayed number useful.
- Shopify store inventory
- Connected distributor availability
- Merchant-controlled stock buffers
Sold out doesn't have to be a dead end.
When a selection isn't available, give the shopper somewhere useful to go next.
Weevio checks other configurations and similar products in your catalog, then returns alternatives with available combined stock. Shoppers can see the differences before choosing another path.
- Other configurations of the same product
- Similar products from your catalog
- In-stock results across connected sources
The next question: when can I get it?
Bring delivery guidance into the product decision. ZIP-based estimates consider your store and connected distributor warehouses.
For pickup, shoppers can distinguish stock at their chosen store from stock elsewhere. The answer updates with the variant and quantity they want.
- Delivery estimates for the shopper's ZIP
- Pickup availability at the selected store
- Guidance that follows variant and quantity
Selling to businesses, too?
For configured B2B accounts, the widget can show account-specific pricing alongside the retail price. Give business buyers their own price within the same product experience.
B2B pricing is an optional merchant feature.
A few good questions.
What makes this different from my current variant selector?
Weevio adds guided visual choices, option price differences, explanations when a configuration changes, connected-source availability, and in-stock alternatives. Your Shopify theme may already provide some of these behaviors; we'll review your current storefront and show you where the widget helps.
What happens when someone chooses an invalid combination?
The selector preserves the option they just clicked and finds a valid configuration that changes the fewest other options. It tells the shopper which options changed, so the configuration is clear before they continue.
Can we show Ingram Micro and TD SYNNEX stock?
Yes, when those distributor connections are configured for your store and products. The widget combines connected distributor availability with Shopify inventory and applies your stock-buffer settings. Stock is refreshed from the connected sources and can change; it is not a guarantee that every configuration is available.
Where do the alternative products come from?
From your catalog. Weevio looks for other configurations of the current product and similar catalog products, then filters the results to those with available combined stock. It doesn't send shoppers to an unrelated store.
How does it fit into our Shopify store?
The widget is embedded in your storefront through a Shopify theme Liquid snippet and connected to your Weevio merchant configuration. We'll review your theme, product options, distributor connections, and the features you want to enable as part of setup.
Are delivery, pickup and B2B pricing included automatically?
These capabilities depend on your merchant setup and enabled features. Delivery estimates need shipping and warehouse configuration; pickup depends on your store locations and stock; account-specific pricing requires B2B configuration. We'll walk through the right setup for your storefront.
